From answering questions to carrying out work
In its Gemini at Work announcement, Google described one agent that can answer questions, create content and write and run code. It says the agent connects to business systems, retains context across devices and can keep working in the cloud after a user closes a laptop. [1]
The financial-services specialization remains in preview. Google says it combines investment research, credit analysis and risk modeling with financial data, company repositories, source citations and records showing where information came from. [1]
The announcement also describes agent identities, permissions and audit trails. Its spending controls include project limits that pause an agent when the limit is reached. Google’s claims describe the product’s functionality; the financial-services specialization has preview status. [1]
