What the Utah tracker lists
The state’s latest posted application-status table marks Flex Bank, Albert Bank, Klarna Bank USA, PayPal Bank and OneMain Bank as pending industrial-bank applications. Their listed filing dates range from March 13, 2025, for OneMain Bank to July 23, 2026, for Flex Bank.
Edward Jones Bank, GM Financial Bank, Stellantis Bank USA and Ford Credit Bank are listed as approved, with opening pending. The table separately lists Bank of St. George as a commercial bank with approval granted and opening pending. Nissan Bank U.S., LLC is listed as withdrawn on August 19, 2026.

A dated snapshot, not a live status feed
Utah DFI says the application-status page was last updated August 21, 2026. The statuses above are therefore the latest entries displayed by the agency, not confirmation that no later application decisions have occurred. The tracker does not publish a target opening date or case-by-case details of outstanding state or federal conditions.
What remains uncertain
The official tracker’s stated update date is August 21, 2026. Later status changes may not appear there, and “approved; opening pending” does not establish that a proposed bank has opened or when it will do so.
