Portland General Electric

Also known as Portland General Electric Company, PGE

Portland General Electric is an Oregon electric utility. It became independent of Enron in April 2006 through issuance of new shares for Enron’s creditors.

PGE was a separately incorporated utility: it was not itself an Enron bankruptcy debtor, although Enron’s ownership of its shares formed part of the bankruptcy estate.
