Also known as Ohio Commissioners of the Sinking Fund
What it does
Ohio’s Commissioners of the Sinking Fund publish semiannual reports of the state’s general-obligation bonds, principal changes, debt service and bond-service fund cash flows.
The commission’s general-obligation schedule is a defined subset of state obligations. Its June 2026 report is explicitly unaudited.
Ohio’s stronger tax collections created room for new spending and relief. Much of that money already has a purpose, while the latest budget forecast and repeated Medicaid findings raise separate questions about flexibility and financial controls.
