Axios reported September 28 that Nu Holdings had reportedly held talks about acquiring British digital bank Monzo, with reports putting Monzo’s potential value at £8–10 billion. Monzo is also considering new funding or a minority investment. Its May 2026 annual report records £1.7 billion in FY2026 revenue and £25.7 billion in deposits at March 31. Neither company has announced an agreement; the discussions and valuation remain unconfirmed.
