Lehman Brothers Inc.

Also known as Lehman Brothers, Inc.

Lehman Brothers Inc. was the U.S. broker-dealer within the Lehman group, legally distinct from parent Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc.

The SEC’s September 2008 statement separately addressed broker-dealer customer assets and the holding company’s bankruptcy. The directory keeps those entities distinct rather than assigning all Lehman proceedings to the parent.
