Guaranty Bank & Trust, N.A. was the community-bank subsidiary of Guaranty Bancshares before its acquisition by Glacier.
Glacier’s announced structure retained the Guaranty business as a division of Glacier Bank. The former legal bank should not be treated as an additional current insured charter alongside Glacier.
Glacier Bank grew from a Kalispell savings institution into a multistate community-bank network. Its locally managed divisions, centralized funding and repeated acquisitions explain both its expansion into Texas and the importance of property lending, deposit costs and integration.
