Anywhere Real Estate Inc.

Also known as Realogy Holdings Corp., Realogy

What it does

Anywhere Real Estate Inc., formerly Realogy Holdings Corp., is the real-estate group acquired by Compass in January 2026. The company changed its legal name from Realogy to Anywhere effective June 9, 2022.

Compass's June 30, 2026 filing says Anywhere survived the January 9 acquisition as a wholly owned subsidiary. The acquisition brought the brokerage-side interest in Guaranteed Rate Affinity into the Compass group. Historical Realogy references identify the same renamed company, not the mortgage lender.

Guaranteed Rate: the lender behind the shorter Rate name →

Guaranteed Rate grew from a Chicago mortgage startup into a network of lenders and real-estate partnerships. Its shorter Rate brand now spans fast mortgage approvals, home-equity borrowing and personal loans, but each product and legal company has its own terms and financial boundaries.
